About

HUB Montréal

November is, and has been for a long time, a privileged month for exporting Montreal creativity. Each year during this period, the city welcomes more than 6000 professionals from 50 countries, from industries such as animated film, documentary film, music, video games, digital arts, literature, performing arts and more.

The idea of HUB Montréal came from this observation, and was launched in 2012 by its founder Sébastien Nasra, during the Rendez-vous de mi-parcours de Montréal Métropole culturelle. The initiative came as a means for the new generation of cultural entrepreneurs to review their business model by defining new funding strategies and a more collaborative approach.

By consolidating the creative potential through discussions, networking and creation, HUB Montréal aims to strengthen the city’s international outreach, as well as its status as a leading international platform for innovation, creativity and business tourism.
