HUB Montréal reaches a new milestone with its 9th edition!

The event cements its position as a global hub for digital creativity and the intersection of culture and technology.

Montreal, November 6, 2025 — Boldness, energy, and unprecedented collaborations defined the 9th edition of HUB Montréal, presented by National Bank of Canada in collaboration with Christie, which exceeded all expectations. From October 20 to 22, over 1,200 participants from 29 countries converged on Montreal for an edition unanimously praised by leaders and creators across the global digital creative ecosystem.

“This 9th edition reaffirmed how Québec’s digital creativity can stand among the best in the world. Our goal was to create a space for exchange and wonder—where ideas, technologies, and talents intersect to shape the future of our ecosystem,” said Julie Dalbec, Head of Programming of HUB Montréal.

Under the theme of intersectoral collaboration, this edition highlighted the richness and potential of digital creativity in all its forms. HUB Montréal explored the connections between creativity and gastronomy, architecture and design, as well as eco-responsibility and digital innovation. More than ever, the event established itself as a true catalyst for convergence, bridging industries that may seem worlds apart—but are united through creativity.

An inspiring and international program

Over three days, HUB Montréal offered a diverse program of more than 120 professional activities, blending international conferences, thematic workshops, showcases, and new formats such as Deep Dives, Reverse Pitches, Spotlight On, and Best Practices sessions.

Creative and technological leaders from around the world—including Nell Withley (Marshmallow Laser), Ramy Elnagar (White Mirror), Adriano Martella (Filmmaster), Nathalie van Sasse van Ysselt (NVSVY), Brian Mirakian (Populous), Vincent Leclerc (PixMob), Dominic Audet (Moment Factory) et Myriam Achard (PHI)—took the stage to share insights under this year’s theme: “Infinite Possibilities: When Humans and Technology Come Together, the Power of the Unity Reaches Its Peak.”

A standout moment was the public launch of Orio, the creative, sovereign, and eco-responsible cloud platform, in the presence of Christine Fréchette, Minister of Economy, Innovation and Energy, and Mathieu Lacombe, Minister of Culture and Communications.

Meaningful business connections and tangible impact

At the heart of HUB Montréal lies its B2B matchmaking program, which once again proved instrumental in connecting Québec’s creative studios with international buyers. This year, nearly 1,300 pre-arranged meetings took place, leading to strategic partnerships, co-productions, and new export opportunities

“HUB Montréal is much more than an event—it’s a true engine for opportunity. Our B2B meetings model is one-of-a-kind in the creative industries conference landscape. Thanks to personalized support and nearly a decade of deep knowledge of both local and international ecosystems, we generate real, lasting collaborations and measurable outcomes every year,” added Olivier Gagnon, Head of International Development at HUB Montréal.
