Émilie Dussault was appointed Country Head & President of Technicolor Canada in February 2019. She is responsible for governing all businesses across Canada, including its overall sustainability and alignment, as well as the deployment of new cross business projects. Additionally, Emilie currently serves as Chair of the Board of the Quebec Film & Television Commission, and has been a member since 2015. As of this year, she’s also joined the Employer Council (CPQ) as an administrator. Before her current role, she was Head of studio for Technicolor’s visual effects studio MPC Montreal from July 2013. She has insured its implementation and growth from a start-up to 1,200 employees and was responsible for managing its operations.
Prior to joining Technicolor, Emilie was Vice President of Operations at Oblique FX. Previously, she held the position as Marketing and Business Development Manager at Mokko.
She holds a degree in film production from Concordia University and holds a Master of Science in Management from HEC Montreal. Emilie is the author of the book Selecting a Feature Film Project: A Study on the Determinants of the Decision.
