Montreal, April 2, 2024 – HUB Montreal, the marketplace event for business development in digital creativity, announces the appointment of Rachel Parent to the position of Co-Executive Director of the organization, as well as significant changes within its administration. This development ensures the perennity and the growth of the event, particularly through its 8th edition from October 21 to 23, 2024. Rachel’s strategic vision for future editions of HUB Montreal is simple: strengthen the influence of local creative talents and deepen the professional network through increased collaboration with the local and international ecosystem.

Rachel will be supported by David Dubé, CEO and founder of Kartel Musik, who becomes Co-Executive Director, Executive Vice-President and Executive Director of Avalanche Prod.
HUB Montreal will focus on the importance of generating more business opportunities through a new event format. This new event format will be structured by sectors of activity and trends. The objective is to attract a new clientele that is more targeted and more connected to the cultural and creative industries.

Present at HUB Montreal since 2021, Rachel Parent has held key positions, notably as Project Manager and Head of Programming. She has been able, thanks to her unparalleled relational skills and good knowledge of the sector, to build lasting business relationships with the entire digital ecosystem, both locally and internationally, while promoting the Quebec creative talent.
About David Dubé
Artistic producer and entrepreneur, David Dubé is recognized for having left his mark on the Quebec music scene, contributing to the success of numerous artists, groups and collectives.
After a stint at Cirque du Soleil, he founded Kartel Musik, a subdivision of HLM records, with the mission of supporting artists of various musical genres, particularly on the international scene. David is also recognized in the digital sector for the first AR application for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed in 2012, several 360 video projects notably for Videotron and Samsung but also the first VR 360 activation of IronMan Tremblant in 2016.
